Adam Gartenberg posted last Saturday on his blog that they were going to update the Sametime 7.5 demo site with beta 4 code this week.
He also mentioned that they were pulling the Mac version of the client from the initial release. Bummer, but if it isn't ready, it isn't ready and I'd rather see IBM delay something than pug it out half-baked.
I went to check the site this morning to see if they updated it yet and they did. Unfortunately, they seem to have removed the Mac client from the beta 4 code. That bites. Would have hoped that they'd want to keep testing the Mac client while it's being delayed. But then again the beta probably needs to be tested without the links to the Mac client too. Oh well. So much for ST at home for me.
I'll work harder on the beta update when they bring the Mac client back, I promise! :)

I love the site template!! Nice indeed!
Adam posted about the unavailability of the Mac client:

My point was more about the fact that the Mac client was pulled from Beta 4.
I didn't expect that "we will not be shipping a production release of the Sametime 7.5 Connect client for the Mac when Sametime 7.5 is initially released" implied "we took the Mac client out of beta 4 too."
I might be in vacation-mode but it was more of a mental leap than I was able to make.
I was really hoping that beta 4 would run on my system. A mostly-working beta's better than nothing at all as far as I'm concerned. :D I never really got to the point where I could even really offer constructive feedback which kinda sucks.
Thanks for the comment on the template. I like it. It'll work til I figure out how to make it more "mine". I had no idea how messed up my templates were before I tried upgrading MT. sigh. I'm so not a coder anymore.
OK, this is strange, but the template I'm seeing now is different than the one I saw this morning...
That is odd. I swear it's been days since I've done anything to the design of the site.
We're looking at how/when to make the Mac beta client available again. At this point there's a big push to get Sametime wrapped up and out the door, and so I don't think that too many updates are being made to the Mac client right now.
We felt it didn't make sense to continue posting what was essentially unchanged Mac beta code as the overall betas progressed. I'll definitely share more on this as soon as I have any updates.
Understood, Adam. Thank you!
