It's no secret that I'm a big fan of the band Otto's Daughter. This space has seen bunches of mentions of them over the years. I try not to let my blog become a promotional machine but it is a reflection of my interests and personality. I think their music kicks ass, and they're a good group of people, but having won that guitar has had a huge impact on me over the last couple of years, so I find myself thinking of them frequently.
Anyway, back to the reason for this post:
That's right, Otto's Daughter's going to be swinging through on Saturday the 20th at a club called Midnight in DC! I'm excited...I've wanted to see them live for years! I'll be there with the Dark Star. If you're into industrial pop metal style music, come on out and check them out. They have a bunch of songs on their MySpace page if you want to get an idea of their style.
I'm really happy that Radio Active Music got this show booked. They're not going to be doing promotional work like this much anymore going forward, but they're a good place to find new and interesting electro/industrial/goth artists.
